Griffin
This is the photo that sits in front of me. My sweet puppy Griffin. He died this year. He was my loving companion for more than a decade. Sweet Griffin, he never outgrew his baby teeth or baby fur. When he was really happy and relaxed he would purr like a cat. We miss you dear friend.
I’m trying hard to animate a walk cycle, but all I can do is think about is you.
what a wonderful looking friend. i’m sorry for your loss. he looks like he was a wise and thoughtful dog.
thank you for your comment. i have seen together several times. i love it and his other movie, show me love. i agree that lilya4ever is important. but also wish i hadn’t seen it.
Oh my gosh. My heart just fell out of my heartcavity.
He was suuuch a hansome and heroic guy.
He felt like a stuffed animal, so silky and he had the strangest quirks, that kid was flyin’ hiiiiigh. I want a lifetime on whatever far off planet he was from and probbaly returned to.
Goodbye Griffy.
Hi Kerstin,
Thank you for your thoughts about Griffin and taking the time to write.
Griffin, was the very best; a noble hound. He was like a little man dressed in a dog suit.
I completely forgot about “Show Me Love,” that was such a great film, too. He is really good at directing young actors in his movies.
I read about his recent film and it sounds very bleak and depressing, different than “Lilya4ever,” but not a film that I want to rush out and see.
Hey Stefan,
I know it is so sad. He died about three months ago and I can’t stop from thinking about him. I love that you said that he was from a different planet, because that is how we saw him, too. I just wish that his visit with us wasn’t so brief.
Thanks so much for your sweet thoughts, they mean a lot.
I wonder how many of the film school dogs are around? I figure Boobala is still living in Spain. Tattoo, Hans, Helder’s dog? And of course your wonderful Bo, who I feel so lucky that I got a chance to meet.
alyssa,
griffen is an absolute cutie patutie….
thank you for sharing your story with me… and posting his picture…. my heart is with you!
Lisa,
Thank you.
What wonderful eyes. Clearly a great thinker and a soul among souls. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Thank you, Babblecat.
He had the most lovely eyes.
Hi Alyssa,
A beautiful photo to sit before you as you work and tinker away… and I like your description of his baby teeth and his cat like purr… many happy memories I’m sure!
take care, grache
Thanks, Gracia!
Dear Alyssa,
This really is a special picture of Griffin. To have him in your life for a decade was certainly a very special time. Just think of all your family members that were touched by his special ways.
Your Zombies are wonderful, I especially like creature X and the way it moves. Keep up the amazing work.

Oh, he’s so beautiful. It feels like I know him just by looking at this picture. He reminds me a lot of the dog I had before Morran. She’s also dead, but she lived with me for almost 15 years. After that I didn’t wanted to have a new little pup I only looked at the old dogs. But then… :) It hurts but it is worth it!
