Yesterday, the wonderful Lisa S. informed me that Izzy Cox is coming out with an album very, very soon. The song “Devil, Devil” makes me think of the movie “Touch of Evil” by Orson Welles.
This film via “Cartoon Brew” looks very interesting I wish I could see it.
Mostly, I have been working and stalling on a project that I hope will be in my shop in the next couple of months.
The drawing above is a scene from “Touch of Evil.” Another one to watch for Friday Favorite Films.

Here is a really rough sketch from one of my very favorite French New Wave films, “Cléo from 5 to 7,” by the ‘Grandmother’ of New Wave, Agnes Varda.
I was watching this film again and thinking how much it’s like a blog, because it follows two hours of the life of a young woman.
This entry marks the return of “Friday Favorite Films,” a day late and a week early.
Frisky Jones wanted everyone to know that he is still here in spirit and loves these films as well, but will not be making his debut until much later.
